The husband-wife tandem of Jim Plate (Oakdale, NY) and Dorothy Courten-Plate begin the day at the same table, but they may not be traveling home together.

"I had to get her off the table," jokes Jim after he cripples Dorothy's pocket Kings.

Jim makes a big bet on the turn after the board paired and Dorothy reluctantly folds. He shows A 10 for trip 10s.

"Either I had to go or she had to go," he laughs after Dorothy busts a few hands later.

Also on the table is Tim Little (Cheverly, MD), who was seated between the two.

Addison Alston (Berlin, NJ) is keeping the table entertained, while Grandpa Jay Zimmet (Manalapan, NJ) joins the group just as the field heads to break.
