Event 1: Chip Leader Approaching 200k

$350 + $50 Deep Stack No Limit Hold'em (Re-Entry)

Shakhin (left) Deep in Thought as Burt Waits

We pick the action on the turn in a huge pot with two 100k stacks colliding.

David Burt (New York, NY) makes a pot size bet of 23k on a board of 2 10♠ Q♣ 4.

Mamedov Shakhin (Brooklyn, NY) goes in the tank and calls.

River: 5♣

Burt moves all in for his last 56k putting Shakhin to the ultimate test.

"This is a big pot, will show me if I fold," asks Shakhin fishing for information.

"You're a good guy, I'll show," says Burt.

Shakhin reluctantly calls and Burt turns over two cards he doesn't want to see: A♣ A.

Shakhin shows A♠ Q♠ for top pair, top kicker against Burt who is now the chip leader.

Burt is just a shade under 200k at 197k, while Shakhin is down to 12k.

Level 9 (400/800/75 ante) is in the books
