Borgata is always trying new tournament formats and today is another first with a Six-Max Survivor.
"I like the six-max," says Borgata regular Frank Conti (Staten Island, NY), "it rewards the aggressive player and suits my game."
This event features 15k starting stacks and 25 minute levels. ~1 in every 6 players will take home $1,500 and survivor means just that, no re-entry.
Registration is open through Level 7 (~7:15 pm).
The Survivor Six-Max joins the addition of innovative Borgata tournaments like the All-In or Fold event and Survivor with bounties added here over the last few series.

"Rough traffic," because of the weather says Vasserman who is a true Borgata regular. Vasserman's poker resume has 13 career tournament cashes including 4 final tables, all at Borgata.
Vasserman is a new construction home builder at the shore and says while laughing that, "unfortunately," it gives him more time for poker. His highest career finish was 8th place earlier this year in the Borgata Winter Poker Open Black Chip bounty event for $8,000.
While Vasserman is a part time player, Vacchio is a full time grinder who won a Borgata trophy almost a year ago today in the 6-Max Deepstack for $21,000.
Vacchio says he likes to travel when he's not playing poker and recently spent time in the Bahamas and Puerto Rico.

Nancy Martin (Washington Crossing, PA) and Kim Sachse (Baltimore, MD) took advantage of two starting days in this $100,000 Guarantee event and played in two events they had circled on their calendars.
Martin and Sachse skipped Day 1A to play in Sunday's Ladies event, knowing they could still play
on Day 1B.
Even though they didn't cash yesterday, they weren't only glad to play in it, but thrilled that Marguerite Spagnuolo (Staten Island, NY) took down the title.
After giving Spagnuolo her props it's now time to focus on today's tournament.

Event 6 Recap
$260 + 40 Ladies No Limit Hold'em (Re-Entry)
Spagnuolo already had a ladies event win under her belt, but this was her first at Borgata! The $4,766 she collected for the win pushed her career earnings to over $60,000, and added a trophy for her mantle at home. Spagnuolo is a Borgata regular who calls the poker room her "home away from home." She's a wife, mother, and heck of a poker player to boot, who has cashed in now her seventh ladies event.
Adila Vileu (Staten Island, NY) was knocking out players left and right throughout the tournament, and was never short until heads up play. Vileu collected $2,588 for her runner up finish, and added to what was already a special day (her birthday).
We saw so many lovely ladies of the Borgata in this event, including Nancy Martin, Alyson Parker, Kim Edmonds, and Emily Flax. Unfortunately none of those players cashed, but a handful of notables did, including Leanne Rosenblatt, Dawn Wilno, Eileen Kustafik, Sarah Wasch, and Keiko Lim.
Spagnuolo vows to be back in action tomorrow for another Borgata Summer Poker Open event. The amount of congrats that she received via text and Twitter shows how loved she is in our poker community, and we look forward to seeing a lot more of her in the near future and beyond.
